Euro R Cams for H22?

Default Euro R Cams for H22?


Im guessing these are Accord type R cams.. Are they different than regular H22 cams ? Decent starter cam for an h22 build? New valvetrain needed?

Friend of a Friend said they had some laying around i might pick up but Im still a little new to H stuff so i figured id ask. thanks

To the best of my knowledge, (Red Top) Euro R/Type S cams are the same specs. Only difference between the 2 engines is the Euro R has the single runner manifold and the Type S has our normal dual runner manifold. Yes by far a better cam then the stock H22 cams. Cam specs on OEM cams is like this order from least to agressive...USDM, JDM H22, JDM Euro R/Type S... Yes you would need to replace the valve springs and retainers for Euro R/Type S...I am a firm believer of right spring for the cam. People have had some issues running Euro R/Type S cams on stock usdm h22 valve springs and retainers...
