my honda is a crx si 1990 with a cable tranny.
it's having a lot of trouble getting into gears and I'm pretty sure it's cable related.

the clutch is fine because it has plenty of pressure.
it doesn't grind going into gear.. it just sort of refuses until you really crank on it then it will pop in. gears 1,2,reverse go in pretty easy (but not prefect). 4th and 5th are really hard to get into gear.

I know what bad syncros are and this is not that.

thoughts?
is this just an adjustment?
if so how?
