my rear wheels get dusty because i have pepboys pads back there. in the front i have genuine honda pads and i get little to no dust.
couple friends of mine use the ebc green stuff give them no dust what-so-ever.

same **** happens with my car
i hear axxis pads are real good with brake dust and hawk ones.
you guys know those vents that you can put on your bumper for the whole brake dust thing to be gone? do they actually work and can you put one on our accord? what are they called? im a little stupid today

i have wagnors...they suck ***...ill prob go with Hawks next time when i change out my rotors...but it pisses me off..all the others look like they are just outta the box...i guess im just gonna have to spray it down with water every couple days...
You might want to try to remove the pads and use a little fine sand paper on them and also the rotors...very slight. Just to remove some of the glaze and other bs on them. Then make sure you torque the caliper bolts all the same.
well heck...the pads have been on there for a good 4-6 months maybe more...and i need to rotors bc they are so thin....so there shouldnt be any glaze on there anymore...but not a bad suggustion...i might try it...where do you guys order your Hawk pads from? and is it the HP+ that are for street?

genuine honda products kick ***. I love it. By the way, most honda dealers mark up their parts 67% over dealer net cost....just a tidbit of info.
I have a 95 4dr ex and i would never use anything but Honda pads. They are made by Nissin and are basicly the same pad the honda cars use in IRL. Honda brakes are the only brakes I have ever seen that actually work better once htey are heated up. They are the ****!!!!!
Guys, I will end the brake discussion now. The only company I would trust is an OEM maufactuerer that has aftermarket parts. What I mean is that AEM has Nissin pads available for Accords that kick ***. I tried for hours to fade them in my friend's car, and I was suprised how much better they were than the Hawk's he had on there. The Hawks would fade badly from stops over 60mph, while the AEM's had none from 110moh. They were very progressive and gave good pedal feel. If you do not want OEM, go AEM.
Try using a wax on your wheels. I used Meguiars hi-tech yellow wax on my wheels the last time I washed and waxed my car, and they still shine! My car is shitting now thou, lots of bird **** and some dust on the wheels, but i'm sure they'll wash off easily w/ the wax still shining.
alright guys i think ill go with OEM pads...hey Brian thanks for that tip about the percentages...and TypeSH i will check out that wax...thanks guys!

HPS's were what he had on before on all corners. He had on HP+'s before, but said that they would not give enough bite but did not fade. The AEM's went on all corners to compare and did not fade and had more than enough bite. This was tested at Roebling Road in Ga. He has Toyo T1-S tires and Kosei K1's on as well. The AEM's put no dust on the wheels after testing.
Hey. From what I know about people using pads in street and auto-cross events, both the AEM and Axxis are pretty similar to stock OEM pads.
They both give a bit better initial bite.
But the Axxis Metal Masters (a.k.a. PBR) seem to dust "more" than stock, since they're made out of dark semi-metallic pad material.
The AEM are light-colored and give relatively little brake dust with better initial bite than OEM.
Now, the Hawk racing pads give an even more bigger initial bite but you need to use them on the track since they're made for track use. The higher carbon/kevlar content makes them more fade-resistant but you need to have them heated up to use them properly.
Now, I haven't heard too much about the HP street pads but that was my plan to get as well for my next pad purchase. Hmm, from what you're saying, vtec2k2, you make it sound like the AEM pads are better than the Hawk street pads. Could you ask your friend if the Hawk street pads have better initial bite? I don't care too much about fade since I'm not planning to auto-cross my Accord anytime soon.
Oh, yeah on groupbuycenter.com you can also pick up a set of Brembo pads. I'm not sure how good they are though. Does anyone know?
As for why only one side emit more brake pad may be bad brake fluid pressure control. See if your lines are free of dirt and check your rotor thickness as well with a caliper (measuring device, not the brake caliper). If one side is thinner than the other, you have a problem there. Later.
