Default tokico blues vs. koni yellows

i have the ground control coilover sleeves and im looking for a shock that will work w/ them the best

i have heard mixed reviews about both of them on quality and difficulty of instillation

which ones do you have/had/heard about are better?

...which ones are stiffer

It would be better to compare the Tokico D-Spec with the Koni Yellows since the Blues are not adjustable.

Konis you need to cut apart your stock struts where the Tokico's you don't. Not sure which one is stiffer.

D-Specs work great for me and they perform well for street and autox.

Dont get blues with GC sleeves.

Blues can't handle to low of a drop, anything over 1.75" and u will probably blow them.

As CarbonRod said, Yellows are compareable to the D-Specs.

Everything I have read says the yellows are better, but im sure they are very close in performance.

Koni's are "shock inserts" where you disassemble your stock shocks. You have to re-use your stock mounting brackets, from the OEM shock.

If you aren't going that low and want to spend less money, go Tokico HP.

If you want basically the same features as Koni yellow (but don't wanna de-construct your shocks to install them) go Tokico D-Spec (same price).

But, seeing as you already have the GC sleeves, I would go Koni yellow, simply because they were specifically designed for the GC sleeves. Just make sure you get the right size.

Good luck, don't ferget yer camber kit!!!

oh and installation... its DIYable BUT not recommended... i know i personally didnt do it myself. i got skipbarber to put them on for me

so in this link http://www.hondatuningmagazine...nsion
installing aftermarket shocks/struts will raise the rear so that its not sagging. Cuz right now i have TEIN lowering springs on. My front looks fine but my rear, as if i have a few too many subs in my trunk when i don't have anything in there but my spare. so will it help?

S-Tech springs are naturally lower in the back. I think the specs are 1.4 front/1.6 rear drop.
