Default CHECK OUT CFT'S Run

ATCO, N.J. - SUMMIT FastNews - Results of round 1 eliminations in Urbanracer.com Sport FWD at the NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Drag Racing Series, Sixth Annual Northeast NHRA Sport Compact Nationals:
W/L Driver RT ET Speed

(W) Andrea Koury ('91 CRX) 1.177 12.444 75.82
was unopposed

10:48 a.m. For the first time this weekend we've got cloudy skies and temps in the 70's... Tuners are busy in the pits here at Atco.
Koury starts things off with a single. He grabbed a couple of gears and lifted.

(W) Jonathan Reynolds ('01Integra) 0.150 9.889 137.39
(L) Steve Lockett ('97Neon) 0.284 10.828 133.46

Big step up for Reynolds - Jonathan Reynolds' incremental times: 60ft-1.650 sec., 330ft-4.472, 660ft-6.571/121.19mph, 1,000ft-8.351
(W) Kevin Van Natten ('04 SRT-4) 0.302 9.943 144.86
(L) Brian Afflerbach ('95Acura) 0.239 12.650 108.30

Van Natten will race Reynolds in the next round, he lost lane choice for round two. Kevin Van Natten's MOV: 2.6441 seconds (more than 100 feet).
(W) Felix Medina ('92 Civic) -0.002 13.206 112.76
(L) Damian Borroto ('00 Civic) -0.355(R) 18.541 58.75

Medina gets the win after Borroto red lights, Felix will have a single in the next round.
(W) Fernando Reyes ('92 Civic) 0.231 9.710 154.83
(L) Chad Colfer ('92Honda) 0.187 11.399 108.51

There is a bunch of very happy people behind the tower - Reyes runs the best time of the event in Sport Front Wheel Drive. Fernando Reyes' incremental margins: 60ft(0.100), 330 ft(0.411), 660ft(0.847), 1,000ft(1.152). MOV: 1.6456 seconds (more than 100 feet).
(W) Bryan Danieli ('92Civic) 0.419 9.927 152.88
(L) Joe Simpson ('95 Civic) 0.171 10.849 137.30

The winner will race number one qualifier Andrea Koury in the next round... Simpson won the starting line battle handily, but didn't have the power to hold off Danieli's hard charging Honda.
(W) Jason Lopes ('05 tC) 0.186 10.791 145.34
(L) Chris Miller ('99 Civic) -9.999(R) NT-No Show

Miller was a no-show - Lopes drove it hard early, then lifted. 10:55 a.m.

Just curious to what changes were made to the car from the last race? Suspension set-up, power settings (boost), Tires, etc?

Very Impressive run and driving? THUMBS-UP!

tranny wouldnt shift. took over 3 tenths to get the car into 2nd gear, then another .2-.3 to get the car back into boost haha

congrats CFT, you have been knocking on that 9 second door for a while now. i was right at the starting line when you made the pass, it was pretty cool to see how excited everybody got. i think some guys on your team must have jumped 6 feet in the air

And a VERY special Thanks to Jo-Tech Bullet Proof @ PR (Jorge Ortiz) & Harold Time Cam degreePH:407-361-6030 (Thaaa BEST!) for all his hard work on the car...
Obviously a BIG thank to ROLO Tec (Tuner) for THE PERFECT tuned on the car!!!

Since the last event the only thing we did was aligment, 2step & went down on boost/power...

Gotcha, might want to find a way to differentiate so credit is given where it's due. Most people see Jotech and think Jotech in TX.
