Best Suspension?
I've searched through the forums and it seems alot of people like the "Koni/GC" setup. I know that means koni struts, but what's the GC stand for? Anyone else have any other suspension prefferences other than the koni/gc? What about the tokico illumina? thanks.
GC = Ground Control Coilovers
koni yellows are the best shocks on the market in my opinion - well worth the extra money to purchase them -- they work wonderfully

It's an awesome setup but best isn't the word I'd use. With anything thing cars, there is no best. I rather my skunk2 coils myself, granted both the stock rates of GC and s2 didn't suit me. S2 offered a free re rate.
What do you want out of the car?

i want it to feel solid when cornering and to be in control if im switching lanes at high speeds and also a nice firm, comfortable ride.

A lot of setups can offer that, how much would you like to spend, and do you need/want adjustble parts?

well, i'd obviously like to spend as little as possible. but when i buy something, i like to but the best first, instead of buy something cheap, have it break, and have to replace and waste more money. Adjustability doesn't really matter to me, but isn't it better to have adjustable ones??
omnipower, PIC or koni/gc would be awesome options for you.
all close to a grand but deffinitely worth the cash.
do it right the first time

Adjusting parts requires know how and time, and trial and error.
I'd be willing to bet 2/3s of the people who do mess with the adjustables they buy make it worse then a good spring shock setup. Another chunk of owners never mess with it.
If you do want adjustable the ones listed like omni koni gc/s2 are the best bet.
Now if you think doing it right and no need to toy. Koni Reds and a good spring like H&R. Alot less money you can adjust koni reds too just need to be off car.
It really comes down to what YOU will do, either way you have the info needed to make a good buy and improve your car's handling.
