Posting for a friend

Vehicle is a 2000 civic ex

He just swapped a jdm b16a w/obd1 harness (engine bay only)
Car rpm/mph doesn't work
speed wiring are 3 and 3 wires all different colors
speed sensor harness colors (red/white,black/orange,black)
plug colors (blue/yellow,black/red,green/white)
He trial and error the wires and still no help

The car also runs like straight ****
(he does have a jdm itr header 2.5in)stock ex cat/piping and muffler

Any help would be appreciated

P.S i will take pics of the harness today and post them

 

what ecu are you running?

 

boomslang obd1 conversion harness w/p28 w/hondata tuned for my setup

 

Figured out the speed sensor wiring and the speed sensor is good but the mph and tach still doesn't work.
