problem 1:

alot of the time, not always, when i kinda mash on the gas and then let go, put it in neutral and begin to stop at a light, the engine will stay revving at aroung 2-3k until i come to a complete stop, then it goes back to idle (less than 1k). and even sometimes when i mash on it, let go of the gas, but still in gear, hte car will still stay revving for a lil while until finally dropping down. any suggestions?

problem 2:

sometimes, when im just cruising, steady on the gas, it feels like theres a split second where the engine isnt getting gas. like itll go, then stop for a second, then jerk and go. and itll do it a couple times in a row. and also when im stopped, and about to go. ill step on the gas and itll take a split second for the engine to react. it feels like the engine isnt getting gas or something. but it doesnt happen all the time and it just recently started happening. i was thinking something like dirty injectors or dirty fuel filter.

any suggestions? anything would help. im lost. thanks for the help in advance.

 

clean the throttle cable and pour some injector cleaner in the gas.
