Default Just ordered a Fit. Any suggestions as to "need to have" options.

Ordered a Blue LX Fit with cruise. I have to wait till July :-( . I paid about 500$ off the sticker price on top of the 1000$ rebate from Honda. So I'm thinking about getting a few options like the spoiler, mud guards, and trunk privacy cover. Any of you Fit owners have any "must have" options that you couldn't live without?

Does the LX come with foglights? Those are a must have IMO.

What's this about a $1000 rebate from Honda? I just ordered mine, and I was not told anything about a rebate on the Fit. How did you find out about this and where can I get more info? Checked Honda's website and didn't find anything.

Bumper pole? Are you serious? The hood on the fit is like 2 feet long. If you can't park this car without a stupid little pole up front, hand in your license now.

I got my girlfriend the all season floor mats, the rear mat for the hatch, and will be picking up the cargo cover as well. Majestic Honda had them way cheaper than the dealership had them offered at.

but then it wouldn't be kawaii JAY-DEE-EMMU.

The rubber floormats and the rear cargo liner are a must. Other than that, nothing I can think of.

All I bought from Honda was the rubber floor mats. I couldn't imagine not having those.

Bumper pole? come on. The climate control is nice. I'm not sure why I'd need the headlight thing but I guess it wouldn't have been bad.

Optional navigation would have been nice but the US gets screwed every time!

I think the cargo cover is the most important option. I dont want anybody to see what is in the trunk when i'm parked. I also got the regular floor mats. You should check out those honda accessories websites to get better prices than the dealer, like http://www.handa-accessories.com/

I regret not having the remote door locks...

It's only in Canada. The Federal gov't is offering a rebate on fuel efficient cars but the fit missed the rebate by 0.1l per 100km so Honda is offering the rebate out of pocket.

Hah!!! K20... yeah that would be a nice "Option" maybe when my extended warranty is over I may think about it. I like the idea of the trunk cover and mats.

Just curious, but am sure you swap in a k20 from the bottom of the vehicle, not a Fit owner(i wish) so i dont know much about them.

DAMN! I wish I bought that Cargo Tray earlier. I spilled some crap in the back a few days ago and it just breaks my heart.

I'll pick one up later this week

Nope. I'll be taking the crx if I can get the gas tank finished up... The wifey and kids are going to tag along in the Ody... Wife wants the DVD to keep the kids happy. I got the whole week off so I'm bringing the family to Niagara for a few days.

Cargo Cover and Floor Mats (carpet or all-weather, depends on your needs) are what I consider must haves. The cheap carpets in the Fit don't wear well.

I have the splash guards, but I could taken them or leave them. my came with the car.
