Repairing/replacing tailgate weatherstripping

I have a tear in my tailgate weatherstripping, about 3-4" long. Is there any way to repair this, or do I need to replace the whole strip ($70+ new from Acura)?

Repair it or buy one from someone parting out a car. I got mine for about $30. Good as new.
