2000 Civic EX, need a chip
I want to get a chip for my 2000 civic ex, i already have an intake, headers, highflow cat, and exhaust, but i wasnt sure what i should get or where i should get it. Honestly i dont have a clue about them, i just needed someone to help me out.

To the OP: You do not need a "chip" .... the ones you'll find on eBay are complete garbage, they just ramp up your fuel map, which is worthless. Any decent chip is programed for your specific application, and then tuned on a dyno.
At this point, you don't need one. There is nothing you've done to your car for it to require any tuning. You've got bolt-ons that are making you all of 7 WHP tops.

Considering there is a bout 4 feet of space between the ECU and the gas tank ... that wouldn't be hard to do. In fact, when I buy muffins at the store, I am keeping them somewhere between the ECU and the gas tank.

^what he said. dont be a sucker and spend money to get that placebo 5whp on the butt dyno. if you want to chip it, buy a chipped ecu or chip kit and run crome or crome pro. i wouldnt worry about it unless you jack up the compression, turbo, or run a large shot of nitrous though. the most i expect youd gain by chipping is a couple miles to the gallon, and a few hp.
