i am tring to decide what type/ style seats to go in my rex. i was going to get one peice non-reclinable but the backs aren't comfortable. reclinable ones are cumfy, but IMO they look too wide at the shoulders when you have them in a crx. i have a red crx, wanting grey or black seats with the 4/5 point harness holes. i was wondering if anybody could please post some pics of the race seats in their rex. reclinable, non-reclinable, whatever. need help deciding. thanks everyone.

Stick around as mine is being installed as I write this. I am using a SPARCO Rev. It is 1 piece and SCCA/FIA approved. It all depends on how you position it as to how comfy you will be. The mounting brackets have a large range of adjustment. If you want a tighter fit (I am a 33" waist) try out the Ultra- it weighs less and costs $200 less.
What you need to do is try several out at a shop. I went to O G Racing in Virginia because they have a display.

friend of mine put those in a bimmer ... very nice but verrrry wide they rub on his doors i could only amagig what they would do in a rex

My black leather GS-R seats look way better than any racing seats.....and they fit.
