Default wierd thing with koni yellow installation need answer asap

I noticed this little difference while getting ready to assemble them

they have the same serial number, no specific side for installation (L or R), but the tab where the shock body sits against the suspension fork is different on them...

compared to my OEM shock:

could it be a production default? could i run into probems installing them anyways(car sitting crooked? shock falling off the fork?

thanks for your imput

That can't be good. You should definitely contact Koni before putting them on.
