Default nonvtec timing belts/waterpump Q??

I was wondering if all non vtec B series water pumps and timing belts were interchangable? My brother broke the timing belt in his 91' Integra and he was going to order a B20 longblock if he bent the valves. He wanted to try just putting a new timing belt and waterpump on the B18A first to see if he even did any damage, and if not he would run the B18A a while longer. But if he did do damage would he be able to re-use the timing belt and waterpump from the B18A on a B20B?
