im running 195/55/15 kuhmos. What do you think is the best tire psi to run front and rear? f-28psi, r-35?

 

lower in the front, start with 28 and work your way down, i run about 22 on my POS stockies.

 

With a stock tire I wouldn't want to go any lower than 20, otherwise you may spin it on the rim if you have much power. Just get some slicks.

 

i'm running 205/45/15 toyo proxes...i usually start the 1-2 runs with 28psi...
if i don't do good on the 60" then i put that shiznit down to 22-24psi...

 

What do you guys recommend for refilling your tires AFTER the racing? Can't drive home on 22 psi.....

 

i put mines back up to 32-35psi

 

I meant what do you use to put the air back in? Do tracks have air fillers like at gas stations?

18 front and stock rear.

 

I bring my 12vdc air pump with me.

I crank the rears up to 50psi and drop the fronts to 18psi. Falken Azeni 205-50-15.

2.1's all day. Hit 2.0 once.

 

I usually bring a bike pump it works good, but takes a few pumps to get it to where you want it at.....

 

well the tracks in NJ i go to always provide air pumps/tanks...

atco or englishtown...

 

if all else fails im willing to bet money there is someone at the track with an air compressor
if not there has to be a gas station near by

 

just get yourself one of those cheap air tanks at walmart, then take it around to automotive and have the grease monkeys fillerup... 120psi should last you a while

 

20-25 psi is the way to go mmm sticky

 

Even 25psi on my lovley Firestone stocks could only net me consistent high 2.30's low 2.40's.. I need sticky rubber dammit!!

 

205/50/15 Falken Azenis are what I am running right now. I hit a 2.006 60' with 13 psi in the tires and launching at 4000 rpm with the hondata 2 step launch control
Gonna get into the 1.9's next visit at the track!

 

probably around 25 psi up front and 40-50 in the rear. someone said start at around 28 and work your way down. thats what you should do.

what do you think about drag radials... I have nitto 555r and was running 20 psi

 

i ran around 22 in my nitto drags. i like the new bfg's more though.

 

What psi are you running on the bfg jinx? I just got some...hehe

i run 32-33 on the street. 20 at the track. thats all motor. my friend has run his turbo car on them and i think ran like 16-18. i've heard you can go as low as 14. i'd try out 20-22 and go down from there. launching at different rpms. also will depend on whether you slip the clutch or drop it. i wouldn't drop it.
