the low-budget killa....itr calipers on dx knuckles, 10.3" rotor with 15" wheels. best part: you don't have to dump your dx knuckles with this swap. this set-up does not require you to rely on aftermarket companies for special/custom size pads, brackets or rotors which can be expensive when it comes time to service.
the type-r caliper is the largest 1 piston OEM brake set-up available. if you plan on using your stock knuckles...the dx knuckles can accept integra type r calipers. the itr calipers, can be found on a variety on honda/acuras and are VERY available @ junkyards or online for cheap. they all bear the 17CL15VN stamp...they come on the itr, +97 prelude, odyssey, crv, legend, vigor, older rl's, cl's, tl's and certain accords (i'm sure i missed a few!).
once you aquire the front calipers, you will need to take them apart. you will find a 23T or 25T stamped on it. the bracket will need to be grinded (where the bracket mates with the knuckle) because of rotor offset.
you also need to punt your 9.4" dx rotors and update yourself with 10.3" front rotors, which you can find on a 90-91 ex, 96-00 ex & 90-01 integra (except the itr).
since the you are going to a larger caliper, it's going to need more fluid to push that big piston. i would suggest a bigger master brake cylinder from a 90-93 integra da. you will need to bench it or you'll be going through 2-3 bottles of fluid.
*you will also need to grind down (or file) your brake pad to clear the hat of your rotor. (btw, the nsx pads fit this caliper also).
this should be a bolt-on once the machine work is done...it's one nasty set-up. dollar fo dollar, this set-up is waay better than anything any aftermarket companies can offer me. no brackets, no expensive rotors, & no special pads. one of the biggest pro's of this swap is the low price of oem replacement parts...i can get new 10.3" front rotors from autonzone for under $30 dollah! plus, the pads are cheap and easy to find also.
*if you need machine work, i got mines done by brakeexpert. he'll get you a great brake set-up!
