What did you put on the rim in the first picture? Or was the rim from some dumpster? Looks really nice at the end.

not a fan of time attack paint schemes....im sure it looks good on your car though.

 

i liked the red/black scheme at first
but its getting too popular too quick
just like the black/chrome lip

you know its out of hand when you see it on trucks/suv/big body cars

p.s....... to anyone trying to do this DIY. be over cautions about using "aircraft remover" or any other paint stripping crap. i got 2 drops on my arm, 3 drops on my leg and its the worst itching ive ever had in my life. wear a ****** radio active suit...... **** is brrrruuuuTaL!

use the spray not the cans

 

i used the cans,
believe it or not, im talking about 5 over-spray drops, tiny microscopic drops that i didn't feel till it burned through my skin. I hadn't planned on doing this, so i started the project in shorts and a b-ball jersey. lol. didn't click to me to put long sleeve, pants and gloves on till it was too late.

do it bro....... im so happy. these rims were sitting for like, allooooong time. now i got brand new rims.
only gay part is stripping the paint. after that its pretty fun. i would have probly done white, but i wanted some black on black on black on black on black on black on black action.

Looks ummm....Good! I will be checking out the end resullt at AutoBacs on the 23rd.

 

uh oh...... im under pressure now. i just got finished stripping the second rim. hope i can score tires by than!!

hahaaaaaa! it does! how long till that itch goes away. im dying....... befor i started on the other rims i dug up my old coveralls, rubber gloves, the works..... im not down for anymore of this **** to get on me.

 

I was good in a few hours ....some people have a worse reaction then others...Ive herad of some people getting it on them and having to go to the hospital because of swelling...***** no joke
