Default Where can i program key-lees controller for cheap?

I have 2 key-less controllers from a Honda Civic.

My controller for my Honda Accord is beat, can i program the Civic to work on my Accord? And if so where would I go because i dont want to go to the dealer ship that charges an arm and a half.

Also I do need two new keys for the car, preferrably keys that look authentic, my key is beat and I only have one. Where can i get the key, and where can i get it cut for cheap? (Avoiding the dealership)

Depending on the year and model, here are instructions for self-programable type :

Don't know if it would work though, try it out.

The most authentic key would be from the dealer. The key blank is a couple of bucks, and having the dealer cut them is like $7 - $10 (blank & cut), depending on dealer. Otherwise, you could go anywhere that cuts keys for a few buck if you want really cheap; but, won't be "authentic" Honda. lol

Reason I am asking for "authentic" is because I remember, I was in europe and we were getting some keys cut for mitsubishi and they wouldn't work because the original key was so super precise that the minimal offset on their machine made the key not work.

Anyway i don't care.. so what you say this is not a $400 procedure
That's good to hear!

The removes I have are for Civics but I have an Accord, my remote that is beat up but is for an Accord seemed to program well, but the Civic ones failed.

Are they built not to work between models? Different Frequencies?
They look very identical just the Civic ones are missing the trunk button.
