Mugen are too expensive. I was looking somewhere around $150 per wheel.

I like the te-37 but they aren't cheap. Try Rotas if you want cheap and light.

....that is cheap and light weight

When it comes to wheels - "cheap and light" is technically an oxymoron - kind of like "military intelligence"

The Kosei K1's would be my "inexpensive" choice.

Yeah, but they're a little on the heavy side...Kosei K-1's are inexpensive and rather light for what they are, that's what I was going to get before I ran into a rather nice deal on my MF-10's.

rota's... there's been heavy debate, but no one has proven that the rims will easily break or fall apart on you...

The best choices in my eyes are:

1.Kosei K1
2.Enkei RP01
3.Buddy Club P1 SF

If you have more budget there are lot more choices, like:
1.SSR Competition
2.SPOON SW388
3.Buddy Club P1 QF
4.Volk Racing CE28N

and so on...

I'm looking at wheels that are light weight and strong enough for track abuse.
thanx for all the inputs.
so far: I have these wheel with weights. some of them I can't find weight for and don't know the price for them. I think the rota wheels are the best bang for the buck right now.

1.Kosei K1 15x7 13.5lbs $120 16x7.5 16.7lbs $150
2.Enkei RP01 15X7 14.3lbs $how much 16x7 15.8lbs

Rota Slipstream 15x6.5 11.9lbs $100 16x7 14.5lbslbs $120

Mazda Millenia 15x6 11.5lbs $60 hard to find

mazda 929 93-95 15X6 12.0lbs $50 hard to find
Buddyclub SF no size, no weight, no price

Enkei Tarmac no size, no weight, no price
