?s for the new project 89 hf crx with y8 motor si trani going to be boosted!!
im helping a buddy with a new project car since i cant do my own at the time what better than to help him out... were pickup up a 89 crx hf shell and si trani(not the 88)some si axles maybe?? were also gettin a cheap y8 motor (obd2 single vtec) i was just wondering what driver side mount we have to use.. also what dizzy ive heard of others working but have personal only used the y8 dizzy and made it work with obd1 wiring.. im an eg guy and havnt messed with ef's but look forword to the project..im thinking a harness from rywire(dizzy wouldnt matter to much as he could wiring up the y8 for us) and a converstion hanress obd0-obd1(for tunning) well throw a nice clutch in it with arp studs and run her na to make sure everythign is ok then throw some boost at her!!the goal is 14-15psi stock block and maybe a build over the summer.. if anyone could tell me what axles would be best..dizzy..and motor mounts we should use that would be great thanks
you use a combo of the motor's mount bracket and the actual motor mount in the car. they bolt right together
you should probably go with the y8 dizzy and convert the plug to work for the car's harness. idk about axles... maybe aftermarket stronger ones for that much boost?
