I'm shipping a block from CA to Virginia and I was in need of advice who and how. Cheap but reliable. From what i know, it sould be on a pallet. Appreciate some feedback.

 

The whole engine (block, crank, pistons, rods, etc) or just the block (crankcase)?

 

Thanks for the reply. It's just the block, no tranny or head. But it has the alternator, fuel pump, etc....

 

Give FedEx a call and see what the limits are for shipping it via FedEx Ground service. They are consistantly cheaper than most couriers.

Then call around for truck shipping companies in your area. It might be cheaper to throw it on a pallet.
