quick Rota GT3 question on lug nuts

quick Rota GT3 question on lug nuts

my friend tries to install his new rota gt3, but the lug nuts he has right now doesn't fit. Seems like it's too deep for them. Do you think he needs extended lug nuts? or is he not using the correct tools?

GT3's just need standard taper seat lugnuts. If he's trying to put OEM style lugnuts on them, they won't seat right.
