Tein Lowering Springs
Quick Question. Am I Going To Need A Camber Kit For A 2in. Drop? My Friend Just Lowered His Scion. He Went With A 2in. Drop, He Called Tein And Asked If He Is Going To Need A Camber Kit, Theyre Response Was No. Is That True?
i have Tein springs with the 2" drop, and I am using camber kits. at first tried the upper control relocation type, and the suspension bottomed out over just about any bump at slow or fast speeds. Now I am using the ingnals ball-joint type, they seem to work a little better, but still the suspension does bottom out over medium or larger bumps at fast speeds. I hate that sound, and jolt, but even when I took them off it was still doing the same damn thing. I also have replaced the springs and shocks to see if that would help but nope.
and it was such a smooth ride before the damn camber kits. on the up side it is the first time that my tires lasted more then 6 months. Yes that was with proper rotation, before and after.

I know that I was running threw tires like crazy, but not anymore. camber kits are not needed, but they are helpfull. and yes I did cut the bump stops, but still bottoms out the suspension.
