Default Wimpy DEI 520t battery

I don't know, may be I have been spoiled by the batteries at my computer's UPS, but the battery of the 520t backup battery does look wimpy.

Is it really enough for the task? Is it possible (desirable?) to change only the battery part for a larger one? I guess it would have to be a 12V battery, but I wonder how many Ah.

I have been using the 520t with no problems. And its been years. The only problem I have is with the ebays ones. They allways seems to lose there charge.

Ditto the above.

You could probably use a bigger batt. but I would check with DEI tech support to find out how "big" a load you can put on the backup batt, power/charge circuit. 94

You could use a home security backup battery if you were going on deployment to iraq.

That battery is plenty.
