Default what sensor is this?

i just put in my new clutch in the other day. but in the process of putting the transmission back on i broke one of the sensors on the block of the engine. i dont know what it is. but after this happend my water temperature gauge does not work anymore. the sensor is right above the transmision and below the dizzy and is screw'd on to the block. i got no clue which sensor it is. i went to autozone and the sensor they showed me were too big. can anyone help

its the temp gauge sensor probably, does it just have like a slip on nipple connection?

Just go ask for the temp gauge sensor, and tell them its for a gauge not a light.

it's the coolant temp sensor. go to the dealership and you'll get the correct part.

ECT- ENgine coolant temprature sensor. You can get a replacement at ur local auto dealer for around 30 dollars. Make sure your Pigtail plug is not messed up because it's hard to replace. The honda dealer gave me an estimate for around 1000 dollars. Because its part of the engine wiring harness.

That wouldn't affect his temp gauge. It only gives a signal to the ecus.
