Default lip kit paint job, need help

Here is the deal, I have a 2001 civic lx sedan white,

ideas on how much the paint job will be to make the entire lip kit white? Or can i do it myself? I have heard Lips are ABS plastic or polyurethane so they bond well with spray paint

Also, The **door handles on the car and the rear view mirrors are black**. *CLASH BADLY*

Ideas on what a charge would be to paint both white?

this is what im workin wit below:

Also im tryna get rid of that ugly stock grill and get a bullet grill for upper and lower, any price ideas on this?

You can definately do this yourself, it's just a matter of having the right materials, tools, and paint. The prices I came up with on the door handles and mirrors are. $103.90/mirror, that is just labor and paint. $63.45/handle that is also just labor and paint. Labor includes R&I interior trim, R&I handle or mirror, and refinish the part.

I'm sure if you take it to a body shop to get the work done they will add in some extras so the price may be a bit higher. As for the lip kit, it's kinda hard to tell probably around $150+/part. So $150 for the front lip, $150 for the rear lip etc... I just charge a girl like $159.60 to repaint a rear lip on her Kia, that's what I'm going by.

Seems a bit pricy, i guess body work is like that. Any ideas on if i can do it myself seeing as its such a small piece .. would i be wrong, could it turn out disastrous?

Also, the grill in place of the emblem in front. Doesn't look to hard, any steps on this?

If you are going to be doing the paint project yourself, just remember to take your time and make sure you prep the plastic right, and make sure you clean it well. Sure painting takes some technique, but preparing the panel/piece is a huge part of it. If the preparation is poor, the paint job will also be poor.

Body shops are pricey, mainly because labor. The prices I gave you were based on $43/hour labor (body and paint), and $24/hour paint materials. It may be different around your area.

Not too sure about the grille, I know most aftermarket billets should bolt up, but don't take my word for it. If it isn't a direct bolt on, I'm sure you'll be able to figure out a way to install it.

all good advise wihasi.
im in california and our labor rate is 80 a hour for labor.
a front lip would end up being like 200-250 depending on prep, materials etc....
out here. I paint them on the side for h-tech members for 125-150 depending on condition of parts or material. if you decide to do it your self just take your time and definately ask questions from experienced painters if you know some or at the paint shop. no question is a stupid question when it comes to this.

Thanks, yea i figure it would be around price range. I will definitely look and see whats in the nyc area. Know of any good ones around here? Another question, how much would a complete paint job be? Let's say all black?

I am also looking to change the lights inside of the car, I have seen a kit to change the interior gage light ( ac temp control mph gages) to blue, I was thinking of buying this, but would like to do it myself. Any steps on how to do this. The original is all green, Preety gay if u ask me...
