High Performance Upgrades for 92 civic qith 99 auto/ motor

Look im 17...need help...has 92 civ w/ 99 motor cold air intake...but what else can i do to make this car fast...besides installing a 5 speed transmission?

with the auto tranny it is just not gonna happen. All the bolt ons in the world will not help you.
The weak link is the tranny, even if you put a turbo kit on your car the tranny will be the first thing to break.
I know its hard to be patient at 17, I was there once, many years ago, but take the time and read up on how to convert your car to 5 speed, at the same time, saving up the money to do it.
This hobby is expensive and labor intensive, if your not ready for both, don't hook up your car.

But...why is it that a 5 spd transmission makes the car faster than a automatic transmission?
