Default rc750's out @ 370whp on mustang dyno!

heres my set up in a nutshell...
83mm b18c5/pauters/9:1 cp's/Benson sleeved/ Earl (rip)assembled
sc6152e
walbro 255
aeromotive fpr
aem rail
rc 750cc injectors

I went to get tuned with my upgraded turbo and we ran out of fuel/injectors @ 370whp on an awd mustang dyno... I was under the impression 750's were good to 450-500 hp...

Any thoughts/suggestions from anyone? I know mustang dynos can give lower #'s but i thought I'd at least get 400whp out of 750's.

I guess my next mod needs to be 1000cc's + a resister box

I thought 750's should be capable at that HP range also.

last week got 430 @ 16psi 45psi base---- 89% duty

ive noticed h22's seem to max injectors out at less power than b-series.....not that this applies here haha

what was your base pressure set at? What regulator? Did you hook up the boost reference to it?

you are most likely making 400hp or over at the CRANK which is probably what the injectors are rated for also are the low impedence or high impedence ?

This is at pure tuning in toledo ohio...
I'm using a hondata s100b and yes the boost reference was hooked up
the injectors are saturated 750's.
we started at 42psi base and even tried to go up to 55psi base...
it didnt seem to make a difference, once we went over 360 whp the afr's would start to get into the high 12's... whereas before that power level we had no trouble keeping them in the high 11's.

I'm wondering if I'm having a fuel pump problem?

First off, a mustang dyno reads alot lower than a dynojet. 750cc are usually good for about high-400whp on a decent tune. So your number arent off by alot. Some tuners arent confortable tuning cars with high duty cycle and to me that's a good thing. You're better safe than sorry.

Depending on your base fuel pressure of course.

If you want to compare dynos, I have a Mustang dyno here at my shop.

I can tell you this..the Mustang pushes back way harder than any dyno out there.

I'm about to dyno my own car with 750cc injectors, similar setup but smaller turbo..we'll see what the 'heartbreaker' says

Does the fuel pressure drop on the dyno?

DO NOT go up on the base pressure w/those injectors.

they get IFFY at 65-70psi of pressure, so 45psi + 20lbs of boost = 65psi = locked up injector

im having a similar problem, im running 750's at 45-60 psi and the tunner says that im running out of fuel at high rpm and i was only pushing 345whp at 15-16psi of boost onhondata s100 i used to be on uberdata at 21 psi and made 370whp all day and my injector were still not maxed out (i also have a walbro 255 pump)
