I want to change my muffler to a straight pipe sort of thing, but only from the axle back.

I was thinking maybe taking my car into a muffler shop and bringing my muffler thats going to be replaced also so they can see where hangers go and the shape of the piping.

I've got the apex ws2 on my car right now and want to go from quiet to loud, but leave the apex piping.

Can anyone shoot me an approximate price to have something like this made with hangers and a flange to bolt up to the apex piping?

were you thinking of stainless steel piping or mild steel?

 

i dont think a muffler shop is legally able to make you a straight pipe axle back and install it on your car unless u have the hook up or its a performance shop

 

it shouldent cost more then 100 bucks ,if you just get them to make it and you install it it will save on the cost ,because shops charge out the *** just for a muffler install


id remove the back section and get them to duplicate it and weld the muffler on

it not ilegal to make something ,aslong as they dont install it

Unless you tell them that the car is for offroad use only. Thats how i got a testpipe made a long time ago.
