Wouldnt he have to use the b16a2 hydro...
Anyway, kevinm1981...talk to the guys at PPI about the swap. They're very cool and helpful, they do really good work.

in a 90 GS the easiest would be a cable tranny swap, , either that , or since you already have a B series trans, you can get any B series engine you like, B18C, B16, or if you can find a B17 ( had one and didnt like it though)
Just change the engine, and wiring for VTEC.
