Default Suspension suggestions??

I am torn between 3 options suspension wise:

1) Full adjustable coilovers
2) Full adjustable coilovers + body kit
3) Or just a body kit

And one more question, whats the difference between a body kit and lip kit if any?
I personally don't have a problem with body kits, i think they can look good sometimes, but i think a lot of people think they're to ricey, let me know what you think.

Thanks a lot

well ill let you know what i think:

i think body kits are rice......if you can stick to front and rear lips go for it.

but your post asks for suspension suggestions not body upgrade suggestions.. so i suggest spending your money on something useful. go coilovers. besides would you even get your kit painted to match right away or would you rock it primed and unpainted like all the others out there who decide to do things half ***?

A body kit is not part of the suspension.

I would not spend the money on a body "homo" or full coilovers unless you plan on taking it to the next level........and that is super sayen

body kits are pretty stoopid, very few look good. its hard to even dind ones that go with the body lines. the factory lip kit is pretty cool.
as far as suspension, which is what your topic says, if its just your
DD just do springs and struts.

Haha.. I read that thread. I'm happy that there are really stupid people like that here. It makes me feel better about myself.

As for the question regarding bodykits/suspension: I will admit, there once was a body kit on my car. I have yet to see a body kit for a 7th gen. civic that looks nice. Even if there was a nice, clean-looking kit... you have to understand how much of a pain bodykits are. -Especially when the car's lowered too.

Save yourself the hassle, skip the kit.

I guess the verdict is...

coilovers FTW

you've got to look into what kind of ride quality vs. drop you want. The lower you go the higher the spring rate you'll need in order to prevent bottoming out, which, leads to a back breaking ride, and vice versa.

I've heard nothing but bad reviews for the Skunk2's. Not many people rock the Eibach's, either, so I can't give much in the way of information.

I'll save you some time in trying to find the "best" option. If you don't mind piecing together a setup, then Ground Control sleeves with Koni or Tokico shock/struts. If you want an all-together setup, go with F2 (Function & Form), D2, or TEIN.
