I am currently own a almost full JDM EK yellow civic .
I am thinking about switching everything from JDM to SPOON.
What I mean is....I rather have CF hood instead of my stock yellow hood.
and Spoon wheel instead of MY CTR wheel.
SPOON CF lower lip instead of CTR lip heheh
and the hardest thing to do now.I have to get rid off all my mugen parts.
I Got mugen steering wheel, mugen engine valve cover, mugen shift knot, mugen header, mugen oil and radiator cap.
Man, unless i canget rid off all that mugen parts I can't affrod to get spoon stuff.

i'm changing my car too. I'm going from crap-spec to ghetto-spec. I can afford ghetto-spec parts until i sell some more blood. I need to go see if i can get some duct tape for my jizz. ghetto-spec here i come.

Yeah, I see some home-job clear corners, and some old steelies as well (4 lug). Quit calling your car an EK9, because well dammit, it isn't. So you have a Mugen valve cover on the motor you're planning to swap? I dunno bro, I see too many holes (lies) in your fabled car, sorry to sound so negative. If you do really in fact have all these parts, I can't imagine why you would want to get rid of them.

 

i don't understand, how can one person claim that something is played out when it is all about what that particular person likes.. ya altezzas are played out and big super picnic tables on the trunk, but to me some **** still looks nice, i wouldn't do it, but it doesn't mean that it is played out, it means that you are over it. I am sure that more people actually like something that u don't than don't like, please think before u speak people..

 

damn you must be a BALLA-OUTTA-CONTROL buying everything JDM...it's cool...it's kind of crazy how could just get rid of their parts completely just because it's made by a certain manufacturer. you should however keep all your good parts and sell the stuff you don't want. it would kind of be a shame if you went all SPOONED out and another jdm comany came. Besides, haven't you heard JDM is played out. Sorry, i'm not hatin'...i'm just sayin'. Congrats on the car nonetheless.

I say keep it as is, it will never look like a "real" spoon car... the color is waaaay off. Yours looks like the VW yellow, not too spoonie. I say keep the Mugen parts, those parts are too nice to give up. Plus spoon look is overused, even my sh*t is trying... also 10 million others.
