Main't Required light
I'll help since I don't have a manual, so I understand his simple question that only needs a simple answer...
Hold down your mileage reset button with ignition off, turn ignition on while holding it. Let go once it stops flashing.

if the maintenance light is green, then its perfectly running car... but if the light is red, your steering fluid might be low... it doesnt happen to most s2000 though, so i assume yours is green..

Actually the light is amber, it blinks when it turns on when you are keeping up with schedule, blinks for 6sec if you are a little late, and stay on when you are overdue... I read the manual.
