fit sport AT performance degridation
It seems like the fit has lost some snot . In a straight line I used to be able to spin the wheels from 1st to 2nd into a torque slide . Seems like I have to get the rev's up to about 4500 before it really accelerates now whereas before 3500 seemed to do it. Also it sounds sometimes like running over a flattened tin can, a" tisk "sound or a" tink ". Almost a backfire sound.I am wondering about the timing . Fuel efficiency is only O.K. Has anyone noticed a performance decline ? Or am I just getting used to the car? Compared to my dodge 96 caravan, the fit (2007,AT, 3000km) is an absolute rocket
so you chirped in an auto????
my clutch doesnt grab as hard as id like to but its a stock brand new car.....so it doesnt matter

You're driving a 109hp/105tq 1.5L automatic like a race car?

LOL. actually 2 gophers in an excercise cage. ....just checkin' the envelope in regards to perfomance. although 109 hp may not be a lot for a car, it's plenty for a go cart...hehe. would love to put a supercharger in.
My goof. Tried to correct myself but made the same mistake twice. Manual tranny actually. But yes , I could spin the tires easily . Traction control would be nice. But she doesn't seem to "go" like it used to. I'm sure I heard it backfire on the road yesterday. Will ask Honda aboot it when it goes in for oil change.
