Default Exhaust Question: NA now and turbo later

Ok, heres my deal. I am slowly piecing together the parts for a turbo kit, but due to other expenses now I am planning on having it done and running by Christmas or later. I will be running a three inch downpipe and i was planning on just having a custom 3 inch exhaust system with a three inch high flow cat made when i got that far.

Well now summer is here and I want to get exhaust, but i dont want to have to buy a different one down the road. So i have thought of a couple different possibbilits.

1) Buy a nice 60 mm exhaust now and then sell it when the turbo is done and get a custom system made then.

2) Buy a 2.5 inch system and lose a little low end now, and lose a little power when the turbo is done. I wouldn't mind losing a little low end now, but I do most of my driving under 4k, so I don't want it to feel like a B16.

3) Save my money, roll stock exhaust and be lame all summer. (This is the un-fun one)

Car is an 00 DB8, I know this limits selection, being a four door and the different cat length, but correct me if im wrong, I can use a system designed any year GS LS RS four door, my year and model obviously, but not any other year 4 door gsr's.

If you make a suggestion, can you recommend and exhaust as well if you can. I don't mind loud as long as I can stick in a silence to shut it up for long trips

Thanks in advance

Just because it would be louder, doesn't mean it will be faster,
but if you like wasting money, then put an exhaust on a otherwise stock car.

Stick with your exhaust til you have your turbo rdy, it won't be any faster with one now.

if all you want is sound, then weld on some straight-through muffler.

You'd be out maybe 20-40 dollars, compared to possibly 300-600, for a full catback.
