Default question on JDM typr r and 5 lug conversion?

Hey everyone well I have a friend thats ordered a JDM type r *B18C* without axles. He wants to get the 5 lug conversion as well for his eg hatchback. Since he wants to get the 5 lug conversion is it better for him to go with the JDM 5 lug, USDM 5 lug, or CTR 5 lug? I know the axles are different for JDM and USDM i think its 36mm for JDM and 32MM for USDM. Are the CTR and USDM 5 lug the same?? Since he is getting a JDM motor without the axles which conversion will be easier and for the JDM motor are the inner axles 32mm or 36mm?? thanks for all the help guys.

98+ spec itr is 36mm axles.

usdm/jdm/ctr are all going to be the same lug pattern. The itr's brakes are a little bigger, so if I had the option I'd go with the itr 5 lug. the difference between jdm/usdm is minute.

It depends on the driveshaft on the transmission which axle it will accept, though I'm not 100% sure it will accept both axles.

He just needs to get the axles that are appropriate for his swap, and any of the 5lug conversions you recommended will be just as compatable as each other.

I would go with the CTR or USDM ITR setup if possible, simply because of the greater availability of standard 32mm B-series axles. All will perform the same, but as stated above, the JDM ITR will require "JDM" 36mm axles.

^thanks for the info. but if he gets the USDM or CTR 5 lug conversion can he use GSR axles? or do they have to be USDM axles considering its a JDM motor?

Standard USDM B-series axles will work with the CTR or USDM ITR setup.

Yep, any hydro b-series axles from the us will work. Or ctr axles.

32mm.
