my brother already has a 95 hatch, i just think that me getting hatch of the same year might be copying, what do you guys think?? should i just get a coupe or something?

Be different kid, get a coupe! Are you going to all out track race? Drag race? Touring? Ex if you like power amenites, and of course that heavy *** moonroof!

actually im more for looks, i like how the hatch looks, and i think insurance might be cheaper... oh yeah, itwould just be a daily driver, and some drag racing...

 

Then go DX coupe, i believe it weighs somewheres around 2250 (gotta be careful cause everyone is so technical to the exact lb.) If you gut it right, you'll be right there with the hatches, and>>>>Different!

Buy whatever you like... If it happens to be what your brother has then so be it.

 

If you like the hatch, I say get the hatch.

i love hatches...i had a coupe....but get what u want and if your bro wanna hate on u if u get a hatch...just make it faster and hotta...

 

get a HATCH, paint it the same color as your bros and make everything look alike......

 

Get a BMW.

Last thing we need is another 17 second drag car that looks ok going down the track.

actually, the car im driving now is a 1990 bmw, really old though and too expensive for me to maintain, thats also why i want a honda... thanks for all the replies...

 

don't get a hatchback unless you really want it.

buy something else, if there's another car you want.

you're right, bmws need a lot of maintenance

Decide what you want to do go or show? I love my hatch because it has many after marker products available that will improve engine performance and looks. But do whatever you like, don't listen to others.

get preferably a 6th gen hatch, so you wont be the same but like the other guy said, if you get a hatch similar to your bros, make it faster and make it look better...

 

Why not get a EK hatch? I think EK hatches are better looking since you're leaning more towards the looks, yet the EG hatch are way lighter. I'd go with the EK.

 

i agree. go with the ek. if not then just get a coupe. see my friend got a hatch before me so i decided to go coupe and were working together seeing how different things perform well on each other's car. i'm a big guy so the coupe fits well on me but if you want to be really light as a daily driver then go hatch but coupes are nice looking too. its gonna be YOUR car so its YOUR decision. hth

I know I'm just a lazy, slacker, comfort-loving creature at heart, and I know by comparison to other Civics' it's porky as hell, but I am very happy with my 95 EX coupe: A/C and power everything.(I even like my moonroof ) I like the looks of 6gen hatches, but I think 5gen coupes are pretty clean looking too.

 

hatchs are for cool people...lol...

go with an eg or eh2 as b18c5-eh2 would say...lol
