Toronto: R stolen from garage, in about 30 seconds
Happened to me today, Scarborough. Car is gone.
I saw it happen,as I ran into the garage, he was pulling out of it. Called the
Police within 1 minute, they're searching... (perhaps).
Thanks to the people that buy stolen parts. You deserve to die.
Remember the thread about people making up their cars being stolen? How ironic that I posted there saying I don't post here often to reduce the risk of my car being taken. Coincidence?
This guy was a pro, I had good look at him. I don't think I'm getting it back.
What a great car, took care of it, 98-0748, no mods, please people, if anyone knows of stolen parts, don't buy it. Call your local police.

....and all the idiots and **** out there who will buy stolen parts will continue to do so. they dont care as long as its not their car.
this is why i dont like the idea of civic hybrids. econoboxes that are cheap...and people who want b18 motors to throw in there.... obviously there arent enough engines to go around...even civic driving grandmas and their pet dog Bob want these engines

Damn, right out of your own garage, and you saw it happened. These thieves are getting quick nowadays. 30 seconds? I'm thinking dude must of had a key made for your car, he was probably eyeing it for a while now.

Ran to look at the garage door, saw it open, saw shadow in the garage, still outside car.
Ran out the door, into the garage, guy was already in car.
As I ran towards car, he was pulling out, maybe 5000+ RPM.
The only way to get into garage is through the door with the "beeps"
So from getting in to stealing, around 30 seconds.
Garage was locked, mechanical lock on all doors, no door openers.
Like I said, professional, probably "marked".

I got a key made for my RS at the dealership w/o any proof that I owned it. Only the VIN. $7.50 and 10 minutes.
When I bought the R, dealership said that to get new keys made, I needed to present the valet key, registration and 2 forms of ID, or something like that.
If I were you, I would start calling around to your local Acura dealers and see if they've made any keys recently. If so, NEGLIGENCE on their part.
Sorry for your loss! Go have a few
my condolences man
you got a good look at him too huh...well, my life from this point on would be set on attending every ****** car show, race, whatever until i see this guy again scoping some new **** to steal...and when i do find him...you fill in the rest

No VIN cover, no security system in the car.

However, it was in a LOCKED garage, and I'm @home today, usually I'm at work
in the moring.... Strange huh?

btw...have you taken your car to a dealership lately??if so, see anyone suspicious working on or eyeing out your car??i'd ask myself questions about who, what, where and maybes...maybe you were followed?? like you said, your car may have already been a non-random target...planned way in advance.sux man...
I'm EXTREMLY careful with the car. Can you guess why I haven't ever been to a local "R" meet? Even though 99% of the guys are good there, I was too scared of someone scouting cars.
All work done at local dealerships. Two big, reputable ones.

Ruthless, I tell you.....I say that the US should castrate all peolpe who steals cars! That would stop them for sure.
To any theives on this board.....I own a gun, If your on my propery I'm sooting you in the spine, cause then it will take you much more than 30 seconds to steal a car......youll have to worry about gettin your fockin wheel chair in there first!!!
Sorry for your loss.

Stereotyping is for narrow minded ***** like yourself
Been there... They came in my garage too! They had to push the car for at least a good 100 ft before being able to town it away...
Sorry for your lost!
I drive a RSX-S now... It's a good compromise, and overall a better car, IMO

Another possibility is you did not cover you vin # and had a cheap alarm.
Sorry for you loss.
They even had the ***** to get into your garage while you were @ home?
Why didnt you pull out your 9mm?
I take it the VIN was not covered in the window area
-aoib0t, who covers his

-aoib0t, who covers his
Hope it is returned the way it was before it left. Those of us in NY can block our VIN's in the window, BUT our VIN is on our registration (ALSO in window). Unfortunately, covering up THAT VIN is illegal
