< Khumo Escta MX vs. GoodYear Eagle GS-D3>
Man for watever reason, for the past month ive been eyeing on these two tires and partialy considering the Azenis. But all are back ordered and still is.
BUT just saw today since everyday i always check tire rack for availabilitiy for these tires, but the Khumo Escta MX are low stock today? it said back ordered yesterday on 6-5-07
I ruled out the Azenis, since people are getting 12k miles on these, thats stupid early to change em that soon.
Ok, So far I am in love wiht the Goodyear eagle F1 Gs-D3, Very good Grip with long life expectancy..OMG... ave.30k miles. But back order wont be back in stock till 4-6 weeks when I called
But now Khumo Escta MX. have similar performance of GD Eagles and Azenis?, but thread life not long as Eagles but longer than Azenis. Any more info and takers on these??, I called tirerack they said its not in stock and tried to persuade me to general Exlaim uhp. Blah not interested
Any idea. What tire you will get.. BY the way I bought tires off of Memoryfab.com BBS RS wheels eta 34mm. 15x6.5 on a 97 Civic hatchback. Ive been riding on these tires for 2-3 months DRY ROTTED. NEED TIRES, but i would like to wait for GD Eagle F1. help me decide i know its childish but arent we all
Any info would happily appreciated

The Goodyear is a better all around tire, the MX has good hot weather dry grip, but lacks in lower temps and isn't very good at all in the wet. I would definitely recommend the Goodyear unless you are looking to run the tires shaved for AutoX, which obviously you aren't as there are better tires out there for that also. Have you checked Discount Tire Direct.

Thanks, and good point. this is going to be my first time buying all four set of tires. So ill better go ahead and get the ones I want. I guess the tire I've that been catching my eyes are the Extreme high performance summer tires. fawk it im going wiht the Goodyear.
Thanks HondaF1Fanatic, your response was appreciated and no, no autox, Ive spent a while fixing and replacing parts on my hatch and its my daily. Ive drove home three times before with broke axles and at times made me want to sell her. but now everythings up to par
