I recently put a new cd player into my 99 honda civic. after I put the cd player in, i drove later that night and realized that none of the instrument panel lights were coming on. i checked the fuse in the fuse box and it was blown. I replaced it with a new 7.5 fuse and it still does not work, I have adjusted the brightness and tried to see if that was the problem. Still nothing. The only that that changes when I turn on the lights is square around the gear indicator on the instrument panel turns off once i turn on the lights. please help, i can not see what speed i am driving at, at night. Thanks

 

umm the cluster light fuse is a 10, well mine is on my 93. check the wiring on the stereo this happened to me last week, i had an exposed wire behind the deck. and it just kept popping my fuses.
