Default Unknown Rims

They are JDM. They are marked 7-jj-x14 with 0 off set (they are on a Datsun), but don’t seem to have an identifiable brand. Thanks.

What does it say on the center cap?
School us and tell us how you can tell a wheel is JDM

I don't have the rims yet.

I can't make out the center cap either.

Along with the measurements, the back of the rim apparently says "Made in Japan", hence JDM...

Mystery solved...got the answer on another board...

They are Chowini Racing. Made in Japan. Peter Chowini was a famous Toyota Celica racer from Macau, who made is name wining throughout the pacific in the 70's. He ran a very successfull Toyota tuning shop and authored many aftermarket parts, sought for by AE86 and earlier Toyota vintage enthusiast.

The design did actually originate at Hayashi Racing, and that they manufactured them with a little 'badge engineering' for anybody who wanted to put their own name on them.

Haruhito Yanagida's Z-specialist shop 'Central 20' requested a special version called the 'Z Sport' wheel. See attached pic:

Thanks.

They're going on a 1971 Datsun 240Z. I was directed to this site by a JDM wheel importer who thought someone might recognize the wheels.

It should look something like this (although this is a '77 280Z):

Hope that satisfies your delicate sensibilities Falken...
