GSR motor market value, NY area?
[not sure if this is the right forum, if it is, just start yelling at me and making smartass comments about the forum rules and I'll take it down...]
I'm having difficulty figuring out my motors values.... Some people say $2500, and some say $1000
1st Motor:
1997 B18C1
Rebuilt at 60,000, 5000 since then. Have recepit from speed shop
Trans has no grinds.
Stock interals.
Performance valve job. - Stock valves.
2nd motor:
1998 B18C1
130,000 Miles.
Runs strong, Trans has no grinds.
Stock internals.
Both motors include IM, TB, ECU, and all the other basic stuff. Both look very clean from the outside, with recently black painted Valve covers. I have the title from both cars that the motors are from also.
How much do you think each are worth?
(In the NJ/NY area anyway... I know in cali Honda's are everywhere...)

For the 5,000 mile engine, I can only see you getting $3000 for it.
The other one possibly $2000 because iti s a running engine, but does that one include the transmission and such as well.
As I said before just look through places that sell integra engines and base it off of there.
There are a few things you don't offer which will lower the price:
gauranteed start up.
1 year or some odd mile guarantee.
I would guess $1500-2000 for engine +$1000 for tanny and axles
Hope this helps.
