Hi all, i just recently bought a 91 si hatch as a summer car to have fun with and im just kind of pokin around to see what i might invest some money into. If anyone has any suggestions for mods to do with this particular model feel free to throw some idea at me, it'd be greatly appreciated. Just to start off, the headlights on it now have real bad condensation in them and the one side looks like its accumulated rust in the lamp itself, yuck! At this point im lookin at a what appears to be a decent set of headlights on ebay to replace them with but i would like some input.

Im not particular fond of the halo projector lights but they dont look atrocious by any means. only problem is this is practically the only option available i can find besides blacked out versions of these same headlights. One of my concerns is from what ive seen aftermarket projector headlights seem to have really crappy light dispersion and the light comes out all jaggedy and misaligned on the road ahead of you. I was wondering if anyone had experience with these type of lights and could tell me a definate yes or no on whether they actually create a fairly decent useable amount of light or not. Also i want to be able to get HIDs and if i cant do so with these then they're pretty much out anyway. If anyone has any other sites i might try for headlights or suggestions on better looking lights i'd take that too. thanks a lot guys and i look forward to moddin the **** out of this little car

 

id just go to the junkyard and get stock replacements and keep it lookin clean halo's are to ricey imo but its w/e you want just my 0.2 cents

 

i have a black 91 si hatch with the black halo projectors and i've started lookin for stockers again because the lighting does suck *** from the projector and, you can do the hid conversion with the stock stanley's. i do however like the way my black bumper lights look on my car.

 

i was afraid you'd say that : ( i might have to go with new stock headlamps if i cant find anything else then, assuming i can find new ones. id much rather have like a clear lense type of housing but so far ive yet to see such a thing
