Well this is about my project car. Well Ive tryed to fire her up today and it turns threw but no gas. (fuel pump works and there is gas presure)... And if i spray starter fluid then car starts for a few sek's. Well most of my car wiring is off a 1999 SH and it is on a 2000 base. (all wiring but around the key and all locks are from orginal 2000 base). On the spedo the green key light blinks then turns off. And the car ecu is off 99 SH. Why i wrote all this is because i want to know if i need me key reprogramed. I dont know why my injectors are not getting power. So if you guz know if i need to take it down to the dealer to get it reporgramed then let me know. I dont feel like getting riped off by the dealer and still not getting it running. Thax for your guyz input...

bump, i really need to know by tomarow morning.

 

if the green key thingy is on on the dash then the key is not recognized by the ecu. but since yours blinks and goes away, then the key is fine. maybe it is something else. just my 2 cents

 

did you check voltages on fuel injector connectors?

 

I did not check voltage to the injecters but i hooked up a little light to it and it did not turn on while cranking... Any ideas?

 

you gonna need meter to check it out right. get cheap meter. your problem is just on that area. cuz you said when you tried to put starter liquid in their it runs for a couple of sec.
That's only my guess.

 

Yay I started the car... It was the stupid chip, i had to pay dealer $95...
