Default Honda Accord 1992 (automatic) problems

Hello all,
I dont know much about cars but im a quick learner. My honda recently has been acting up. It hasnt been starting too well. It takes about 3-6 times before it starts. After i drive it for a while (+30 min) "i think" the transmision starts to slip when i go up hills or from start to go. All of my fluids have checked out.
Today i started my car, put it in drive, reved it up to about 2.5 rpm and it was as though the tranny has completely went (the car hardly moved).
I manualy put it into 1st gear and got it to get going.
Once i was about 25-30 mph i could switch it back to drive and it would work fine. I drove around for about 5 min in drive and the gear would never switch (went up to 55 mph and down to 0.)
Please help me.
How much longer do i have before its pretty much shot?
Would anyone buy this car off me? and for how much?
Thanks
Miles
