Default 195/45/16 toyo t1r

hi there...

i'm about to purcahse a set of rims that are 16 x7....but the tires on them are 195/45/16...

i'v never herad of this tire size before...i usually see 205/45/16..

is there any significant differences?
should I be cautious of anything?

about the same as a 205/40-16

but the 195/45 is about 1/3 of an inch taller then the 205/40

what car you got? year?

Those are 2.3 percent smaller in diameter than your stock tires - a significant difference, to be sure, but not quite overwhelming. I wouldn't pay anything for the tires, since they're the wrong size. But if you're happy with the deal you're getting on the wheels at the price you're paying, then the tires are basically free - in which case, sure, go ahead and use them; then when you need to replace them, buy the proper size for your car (205/45-16 or 215/45-16).
