I'm a dumbass and lowsided my bike about three weeks ago. All the damage is/was cosmetic and I'm looking to repaint the bike. I still can't decide on what color I want to do. I only have two ideas as of now. One being flat black and World Rally Blue from Subaru to match the STi I'm getting in the future.

The flat black will have a clear coat on it but it's a clear made especially for flat black that isn't shiny, but it is protective.

I was torn between the colors already but then met a guy over the weekend that just rebuilt a bike and painted it some candy red/maroon color. And it looked amazing.

So post up some pictures of non stock paint jobs on any bike just so I can get an idea of colors.

I'm not looking for you guys to make my decisions just want to see any and all ideas.

what is the non gloss clear you're talking about. im doing my 03sv in flat black and have never heard of that sort of thing but now am very interested.

 

I can see if I can get the exact make or something of the paint. But the people who supply him paint brought it to his attention. I'll see if I can get a hold of what it is called.

i want to do flat black on mine too... i was told not to that is to expensive... what have you come up with mang? how much?

 

The guy who is painting my bike also paints construction equipment for the company I work for, so my price might be a little cheaper than a body shop. But this guy paints bikes a side job and repaints his every year.

Anyways, he quoted me $500 to fix my broken fairing and paint the whole bike.
