Change air filter tip on 7th G Accord

I have a 2003 EX V6 Accord and need to change the air filter. I loosened the 4 screws around the cover, but it's held tight by the hose. Any tips on the easiest way to detach the hose?

yeah u could loosen it up u know where the pipe is at there like 2 whole that is connecting it to that one thingy forgot wat it is call but u could snap it off

Owner's manual instructions says to use a flat tip screwdriver to loosen the hose.

You can do it without disconnecting the hose. It's not easy, you have to push pretty hard to get it out from under the fender, but I have done it a few times on my 03 V6.
