external rust makes no difference. but its a good indication of what the shocks have been thru.

i would not buy used shocks, especially when you can get NEW illuminas for under $400, with lifetime warranty.

and then get the springs you want. i wouldnt recommend neuspeed race springs personally. i typically recommend pro kits.

what if someone wants higher spring rates or a lower stance than Pro Kits provides?
