As the title says, is it possible to repair scratches on mirrors, cheaper then buying new mirrors?

 

on the glass or?

I've heard of this particular eyeglass cleaner than removes horrible deep scratching (one of those As-Seen-On-TV ads).. Can't remember the name though, sorry.

That's your best bet (cheapest) to my knowledge.
